Viewing metrics for custom patterns

Find out how many alerts are being raised and addressed for a custom pattern.

Who can use this feature?

Repository owners, organization owners, security managers, enterprise administrators, and users with the admin role

Metrics for custom patterns are in public preview and subject to change.

Activity overviews for custom patterns are available at the repository, organization, and enterprise levels. Each overview displays alerts generated and push protection blocks over the last 30 days.

  1. Navigate to where the custom pattern was created. A custom pattern can be created in a repository, organization, or enterprise account.
  2. Under "Custom patterns", click the custom pattern you want to view.

The metrics are displayed under the custom pattern's name.
